This is a two class certificate program and is a prerequisite for all diploma programs.
Before you commit to a long term study program with NHC, the following two classes are required prerequisites for the Certificate Program. The first prerequisite is Introduction to Anatomy and the second is Introduction to Holistic Sciences which will expose you to a wide spectrum of alternative healing modalities. Being conversationally literate on the vast range of healing and wellness practices prepares you for a rewarding future as a holistic professional as well as for the immediate future. This certificate is useful as a stand-alone program in seeking employment in the wellness industry while continuing your studies.

After you are enrolled as a student the first class you go into is OR202. Orientation class is designed to teach and familiarize our students with our online platform.
In this 2-4 hours class you will find your student handbook, videos and other directions showing you how to complete normal
tasks in the learning system.
You should take this class within 1 or 2 days of enrollment because you
have to pass this class to get into your Anatomy class.

Program Information
This is a 5 credit hours program. This Program is the prerequisite for all diploma programs. Before you commit to long term study with
us these two classes will prepare you scientifically and expose you to a wide spectrum of alternative
healing modalities.
This Program will teach you the principles of applying Holistic Health Science in today's health world.
You will also experience practical applications of medicinal herbs for disease prevention, disease therapies along with natural alternatives to over-the-counter and prescription drugs.
